Extending political and economic relations, issues of NATO and EU integration were the principle topics discussed by the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia and the President of Montenegro.
The sides emphasized the importance of bilateral relations so as to further extend relations between Montenegro and Georgia and noted that sound political cooperation is a prerequisite for strengthening cooperation in the field of economy and tourism.
The meeting focused on the contribution that Georgia embarks on the maintenance of peace and stability in the region, and highlighted our country's key role in international missions. The sides emphasized the importance of close cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Milo Dukanovic noted that he has been invigilating Georgia's accomplishments and ongoing reforms. The meeting focused on the importance of Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration process, the support and sharing of experience of the befriended countries.
The President reaffirmed his intact support for Georgia's territorial integrity and expressed his commitment to further deepen the cooperation.
