The meeting of the Speaker with the Chair of the Constitutional Court of Latvia

The Speaker, Irakli Kobakhidze met with the Chair of the Constitutional Court of Latvia, Ineta Ziemele.

The parties discussed Constitutional reforming in Georgia. Mr. Kobakhidze introduced the context and arguments of the reform and stated that the Constitutional changes are important for stability and success in EU and NATO integration.

At the meeting with the Chair of the Constitutional Court, we discussed various issues. We got cognizant with the practice of the Constitutional Court of Latvia and spoke about Georgian practice. We discussed Constitutional reform in Georgia and related issues”, - the Speaker stated.

The Parliamentary Delegation is composed of: Tamar Khulordava, Eka Beselia, Akaki Zoidze, Vano Zardiashvili, Beka Odisharia, Ramaz Nikolaishvili and the Chief of the Speaker’s Cabinet, Nikoloz Samkharadze.
