The Vice-Speaker, Irma Inashvili holds the briefing to introduce the public opinion poll on military non-alignment held in Rustavi and Batumi: “In September, 2019, our political team has launched the universal countrywide opinion poll on military non-alignment and already covered the cities of Batumi and Rustavi. The poll in Batumi revealed that 69% - 53 130 Batumi residents support military non-alignment – the military neutrality model of Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland. The 12-days poll has also been held in Rustavi, where more than 56 000 citizens have been interviewed. The poll revealed that 78% - 43952 Rustavi residents support military non-alignment, 6% abstains and 15% is against”, - she noted.

She touched upon the poll on restoration of integrity of Georgia noting that 81% of Rustavi residents believe in feasibility of restoration of integration only through peaceful policy with Russia and direct dialogue with Sokhumi, Tskhinvali and Moscow. The polls are being held countrywide with Kutaisi as the next city.
