The Majority MPs’ season’s greetings to the conflict zone population

The Majority MPs – Vice Speaker, Giorgi Volski; Chair of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, Mamuka Mdinaradze; MPs: Tengiz Khubuluri and Ioseb Makrakhidze, as well as the Secretary General Givi Mikanade and the Governor of Shida Kartli region, Giorgi Khojevanishvili wished merry Christmas to the population of the conflict zone village Zardiaantkari.

MPs delivered the food, sweets and gifts to Georgian and Ossetian families and heard their problems. MPs visited the border guard in the village. “We wished merry Christmas to the population of the village Zardiaantkari and the border guard at the occupation line. Some of their problems are solved and gas is also supplied but the life at the occupation line is hard. We shall do our best to mitigate their situation. I deliver my wishes to this village, to the region and whole Georgia”, - G. Volski noted.

According to M. Mdinaradze, the state attention to these people is crucial. “Today, we wished merry Christmas to these people living at the occupation line where there is the check-point in a couple of meters from our line which in fact belongs to the representatives of the occupant country. These people live in this situation and life is hard. We try to alleviate their conditions with our gifts but our attention is much important for these people. We shall always pay our attention to this region and these people as they are the heroes protecting our line. I wish them unification of the country, elimination of problems and achievement of the goal of our nation and our country”.

According to the Governor, the occupation line is the acutest challenge: “We do our best to render our assistance to these people in their routine problems. I wish merry Christmas to Georgia”.
