The Head of the Organizational Department of the Parliament, Eter Svianaidze was awarded for 57 years in public service at the resuming meeting of the Public Service Bureau.
The award was delivered by the Head of PSB, Ekaterine Kardava.
The Prime Minister, Mamuka Bakhtadze addressed the attendees and initiated establishment of the Professional Public Servant Day. He noted that these people shall be highly valued.
“The initiative implies establishment of the Professional Public Servant Day. We shall value our merited people serving years in public service and demonstrating high professionalism, patriotism and knowledge. They put their bricks in building of our statehood. We strive to value professional public servants and the institutions to make them attractive in the country as knowledge, professionalism and skills of these people are important for implementation of field reforms the Government schedules”.
The event was supported by UNDO and British, Swedish and Danish Governments.
