“The Parliament of Georgia has made the decision to create the new Parliamentary Logo, in view of which the Parliament has set up the Contest Commission personally chaired by the Speaker, Irakli Kobakhidze”, - the Secretary General, Givi Mikanadze stated at the press-conference.
The Commission will be composed of MPs, Staff and the representatives of the Council of Heraldry. The contest was called today and was updated on the official website of the Procurement Agency. All the related information and details will be as well uploaded on the Parliamentary website.
“There are no restrictions for the contest – any natural person or legal entity is entitled to participate. We have sundry essential issues related to the contest: the contestants are to submit one proposal solely, which shall provide the sample of the logo in 100% original manner without any plagiarism. The logo shall not provide the contours of the Parliamentary palaces”. Any person concerned is entitled to have the detailed information about the contest till August 19, and within August 19-24, the applicants will be able to submit the proposals to the special e-mail. “After the Commission receives all the proposals, it will make the decision on the winner. The prize is envisaged within 2500 GEL”.
