Members of the Faction National Movement held the meeting with the PACE Monitoring Committee Rapporteurs within the ambit of their 2-day visit in Georgia.
The meeting focused mainly on the current situation in the country.
“We focused on the problems facing our country today. Above all, it is the constitutional amendments, which are to be carried out in the electoral system, I mean the proportional system, as well as the changes that need to be taken to ensure the implementation of the OSCE recommendations latterly the elections", - the Deputy Chair of the Faction, Salome Samadashvili stated.
According to her, the discussion also focused on the judicial system and the process that is going on in the Parliament today, which concerns the issue of staffing the Supreme Court.
