The Deputy Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, Rati Ionatamishvili, together with the members of the Committee - Vano Zardiashvili and Irakli Mezurnishvili, met with the experts representing the World Bank in the field of insurance.

According to MPs, the Committee is elaborating a bill dealing with insurance, including a third-party insurance system.

As per Rati Ionatamishvili, there are three principles when working on the bill: “First, to create mechanisms that exclude monopoly on the market, second, to take into account the interests of consumers and, finally, to introduce social responsibility mechanisms. The meeting enabled us to share our approaches with the guests. We will continue working on the bill in line with these principles”, - Rati Ionatamishvili noted.
