The Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee stressed the human rights state in Georgia and the role of the Parliament in this process.
She touched upon the Parliamentary oversight and the Constitutional changes enhancing the Parliamentary governance in the country.
Sofo Kiladze dwelt on the Code of the Rights of the Child and the social officer reform noting that as these two laws become effective, significant steps will be made forward in terms of protection of the rights of the children in Georgia.
She serves the visit to New York and will be busy in the working sessions of the UN General Assembly during the week.
The visit also envisages the meetings with the UNICEF representation.
