The Statement by the Chair of Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Tedo Japaridze concerning the terrorist acts in Brussels

22 Mar 2016

Today in Brussels, the peaceful population was exposed to the ruthless terrorist acts, claiming innocent lives. We, as the whole Europe, are distressed for this gravest tragedy. It was a horrific attack against the world civilization.

Georgia is intact recognizing the Western course, the ideals and values thereof and contributes own mite in global fight against terrorism. Terrorism has no nationality or religion.

Today, I accompany the Speaker, Mr. David Usupashvili in the official visit to Saudi Arabia where we in solidarity with the host country, condemned the terrorist acts in Brussels. We express sympathy and declare our solidarity and support to the families of deceased and injured.

The world shall further continue effective and coordinated fight against terrorism.
