Within the PACE spring session week being held in Strasbourg, the PACE hosted the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Georgia.
The PACE President, Michele Nicoletti opened the event.
The guests had the opportunity to get cognizant with the 100-year history of development of Democratic Republic of Georgia.
“It is paramount that PACE started discussion this issue and hosted the exhibition reflecting the heritage of the first Republic for our country. It is principal, particular providing that 100 years ago many European countries did not have these values and Georgia was a special and progressive country indeed. Unfortunately, we have partially lost all these achievements due to Russian occupation but this exhibition facilitates EU and European Parliamentarians to thoroughly analyze the roots of Georgian state and acknowledge the depth of our roots and how European Georgia is in terms of values”, - T. Chugoshvili stated.
