The Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee heard the Annual Report of the National Competition Agency

The Committee discussed the Annual Report by the National Competition Agency for 2021 and gave its positive assessment.
The Chair of the Agency, Irakli Lekvinadze emphasized the novelties implemented by the Agency – the accomplishment of the monitoring of the pharmaceutical market and the issue of 13 recommendations, which provided the customers with more options with lower costs
. “We are glad to see the Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection actively establishing the recommendations”, - he stated.
The Agency keeps monitoring the fuel market and further extends the functions under the Bill. This process is in full compliance with the EU integration process of the country.
“The significant part of the challenges of 2021 has been addressed. Now, the goal of 2022 is to further enhance our trust and reputation and effectively protect the rights of the customers. Our Agency is committed to making the useful and fair decisions in line with the interests of the business and the customers”, - he added.
The Committee gave a positive assessment to the report and set up the Working Group for Control of Enforcement of the Legal Acts regulating Disposal of the Child’s Property and Analysis of the Judicial Practice.
