Media and Society 04 Jun 2021
The Administrative Sanctions for the Driving under the Alcoholic Intoxication are getting stricter

The Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee discussed with the I reading the Draft Code of Administrative Offenses, envisaging the stricter administrative sanctions for the driving under the alcoholic intoxication, namely the draft envisages the termination of the license with the term of 1 year and 300 GEL penalty for the evasion of the inspection.

The driving with the terminated license shall entail the penalty of 2000 GEL, administrative detention of 5-15 days and the extension of the termination by 1 year.

According to Anri Okhanashvili, the Legal Issues and the EU Integration Committees will participate in consideration of the draft.

The draft was introduced by Levan Ioseliani.
