"Protection of the constitutional right is the obligation of the Parliament and the MPs", - Ana Natsvilishvili, a member of the political group "Lelo - Partnership for Georgia" stated after the meeting with civil society representatives.

According to her, today the members of the political group met with the lawyers who are working on the cases of fined and arrested demonstrators during the March 7-8 protests and protecting their interests.

"We witness attempts by the state to punish individuals for expressing their constitutional right to assemble and demonstrate, so we will be very cautiously active in these procedures. Thus, in the following weeks, we won't be able to relax, and we'll be as active as we can with these matters in addition to everything else", - Ana Natsvlishvili remarked.
