Meeting of Archil Talakvadze with the Head of Azerbaijan-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group

The Vice-Speaker and the Head of the Georgia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Archil Talakvadze held a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Arzu Naghiyev.
The parties reaffirmed the strong friendly and partnership relations between the countries and deliberated on cooperation progress in energy security, trade and economic spheres, as well as in tourism and global infrastructural projects.
According to A. Talakvadze, Georgia highly appreciates these relations.
“We are delighted to host our good friends in Tbilisi and are truly glad to see our parliamentary ties at a high index. We enjoy the privilege to contribute to these relations in capacity of the Heads of the Friendship Groups. Georgia and Azerbaijan prove to hold a close friendship and strategic partnership and our authorities hold productive cooperation in all directions discussed by us today. We extend our gratitude to our Azerbaijan friends for their support of Georgia for many years. These relations will further be enhanced and apply all their positive aspects for the benefit of our citizens”, - A. Talakvadze stated.
