The Vice-Speaker and the Head of the Georgia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Archil Talakvadze held a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Arzu Naghiyev.

The parties reaffirmed the strong friendly and partnership relations between the countries and deliberated on cooperation progress in energy security, trade and economic spheres, as well as in tourism and global infrastructural projects.

According to A. Talakvadze, Georgia highly appreciates these relations.

We enjoy the privilege to contribute to these relations in capacity of the Heads of the Friendship Groups. Georgia and Azerbaijan prove to hold a close friendship and strategic partnership and our authorities hold productive cooperation in all directions discussed by us today. We extend our gratitude to our Azerbaijan friends for their support of Georgia for many years.
