Meeting of Archil Talakvadze with the Commissioner of the Ministry of European Union Affairs of Hungary

The Vice Speaker of the Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, held a meeting with Bólya Boglárka, Commissioner of the Ministry of European Union Affairs of Hungary. The discussion revolved around the already strong relations between the two countries and explored avenues for further enhancing cooperation. They emphasized the robust political collaboration existing between Georgia and Hungary, as well as the positive developments in various sectors such as tourism, energy, agriculture, and education.
Integration into the European Union and NATO, along with the ongoing reform efforts by Georgia towards this goal, were also key topics of discussion during the meeting.
"Our European partners have expressed positive evaluations of Georgia's reforms, and we have received significant support regarding the necessary steps for final accession to the European Union. The Hungarian commissioner expressed a supportive position during the meeting”, - Archil Talakvadze stated.
He mentioned the upcoming visit of the Speaker of the Parliament to Hungary in the near future. Representatives of the Hungarian delegation expressed their support for Georgia's territorial integrity, sovereignty, as well as its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
Archil Talakvadze expressed gratitude to the guests for their support of Georgia. Alongside Archil Talakvadze, Irakli Mezurnishvili, the head of the friendship group with the Hungarian Parliament, and Mariam Lashkhi, a member of the friendship group, attended the meeting.
