Baia Kvitsiani, the Deputy Chair of the Education and Science Committee and the Chair of the Standing Parliamentary Council for the Protection of Children's Rights, held a meeting with students and teachers from Marneuli Public School No. 2.

During the meeting, Baia Kvitsiani provided an overview of the main areas of the Committee's work. She discussed the functioning of school collegial bodies, student self-government, and the board of trustees, highlighting the importance of students' active participation in these bodies.

Baia Kvitsiani also touched upon the ongoing thematic research within the committee, which aims to engage the school community in the management of educational institutions. The meeting placed special emphasis on the significance of civic education.

Furthermore, students had the opportunity to share information and pose questions to the MP regarding topics of interest. Following the meeting, the students visited the Parliamentary Palace.
