The Chair of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, Beka Odisharia met with the founder of the charity organization "Mamuka Bagrationi Foundation", Mamuka Bagrationi to discuss the goals and plans of the foundation.
As was noted, one of the main directions of the fund's activity is providing charity and assistance to Georgian immigrants. That is why it actively cooperates with the charity organization "Diana Bagrationi Foundation" in the United States of America, with which it has signed a memorandum of cooperation, and in this cooperation format, they plan to jointly implement charitable, educational, cultural-creative, and sports events with the participation of the diasporas of Europe and Western countries, which will contribute to the West integration process.
According to Mamuka Bagrationi, in the future, the foundation plans to expand its activities in the direction of implementing educational projects in the Georgian diaspora abroad, in particular, to raise the knowledge of the Georgian language and history in the diaspora, and in this regard hopes to cooperate with the parliamentary committee.
