The First Deputy Chair of the Legal Issues Committee, David Matikashvili, held the meeting with the students to discuss the global parliamentarism and the history of parliamentarism in Georgia.

D. Matikashvili concentrated on the legislative activities of the Georgian Parliament, its role in oversight and parliamentary diplomacy, as well as the activities of committees, factions, and permanent councils, the process for reviewing draft laws, the constitutional amendments passed in 2018, and the measures taken to implement the EU's 12-point plan.

The MP also answered the students' questions.

"Today, there was another gathering of students. We applaud the planning of these events since they give young people the opportunity to learn more about the work of the Parliament straight from the lawmakers”, - David Matikashvili stated.
