The Vice-Speaker, Chair of the Parliamentary Child Protection Council, David Sergeenko held a meeting with the Delegation of Maldives.

The guests heard about the reforms undertaken for the protection of the rights of the children.

“The Parliament hosts the high-level Delegation of the Maldives, composed of the Minister of Healthcare, Minister of Social Policy, Mayors of several cities, and the Head of the Local UNICEF Office. They were interested in sharing the experience of Georgia in the reforming of the rights of the children, such are the adoption of the main frame laws and the processes facilitating the enhancement of the rights of the children. We held an intensive working meeting and expressed our consent about the opportunity to further enhance our cooperation”, - D. Sergeenko stated.
