David Songulashvili: it’s essential to enhance the effective use of the Georgia-Italy trade-economic potential

The Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, David Songulashvili serves the official visit to Italy.
Today, he met with the Professor of Tourism Management at the University of Bergamo, Roberta Garibaldi, the General Manager of the CoE cultural program Iter Vitis Les chemins de la Vigne, Emanuela Panke and the First Secretary of the Chair of the Finance and Treasury Committee of the Italian Senate, Palmiero Perconti.
At the meetings, the parties touched upon the development of tourism in Georgia, and sharing the Italian experience in this regard.
“At the meeting, we agreed on planning and realization of the joint projects in winery and agricultural tourism spheres; it’s essential to enhance the effective use of the Georgia-Italy trade-economic potential to facilitate the development of the small and medium entrepreneurship, agricultural and infrastructural projects and attraction of more Italian companies to the Georgian market. I truly hope that these meetings will serve as a basis for the realization of significant tourism projects”, - D. Songulashvili noted.
The visit to Italy covered the period of January 29-February 1.
