The Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, David Songulashvili and the Delegation Members hold meetings in the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan.

Today, Georgian MPs met with the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev.

“Azerbaijan is a friend country and a strategic partner to Georgia. Our countries maintain active economic relations at the trade level, as well as in terms of various strategic projects. Particular importance is attached to bilateral relations for the development of the middle corridor and hence, these are the issues to be discussed at the Committee level. It is yet another platform facilitating further enhancement of economic relations. At the meetings, we discussed parliamentary cooperation prospects”, - D. Songulashvili stated.

Tomorrow, the Delegation members are meeting with the Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov.

Georgian MPs laid the wreath on the grave of the former President of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev.

The Delegation is composed of Gela Samkharauli, Bezhan Tsakadze, Irakli Zarkua and Giorgi Khakhubia. The meetings were attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan, H.E. Zurab Pataradze.
