The Parliament holds the consideration of the Draft State Budget 2023, the Governmental report on the fulfillment of the Budget of 2022 and the main data and directions of the State Budget.

Today, the First Deputy Finance Minister, Giorgi Kakauridze was invited by the Political Group “European Socialists” to the Parliament to hear the information about the initial version of the Draft. The reporter informed MPs about the budget parameters, macroeconomic and economic growth forecasts and the assignments for the state agencies.

“We believe that the financing for the Education Ministry shall further be increased. The facilitation of science requires more funds and state support. We also believe that the financing for the Agricultural Ministry shall be increased. We have developed the initiative on the set-up of the State Investment Commercial Bank to finance various programs, such as “Produce in Georgia” etc. It will be a social program directed to the welfare of the population”, - the Chair of the Group, Pridon Injia stated
