Pridon Injia: when there are issues to be resolved or adopted for the benefit of my country, I put my oppositional activity aside; I support the Constitutional Changes

“Deriving from the pressure that we witness in the world, the legal changes we initiated are timely indeed. I represent one of the opposition parties but when there are issues to be resolved or adopted for the benefit of my country, I put my oppositional activity aside; I support the Constitutional Changes”, - the Chair of the Political Group “European Socialists”, Pridon Injia stated in Ozurgeti at the universal-public consideration of the Draft Constitutional Changes and the Draft Constitutional Law on the Protection of Family Values and Minors.
According to him, the term “family values” in the Draft shall be replaced with the term “Georgian values”.
“I would replace the term “family values” with “Georgian values” since Georgian values comprise Christianity, orthodoxy, religion, language and family. We need to introduce a subject “Georgian values” to schools”, - he stated.
