Givi Mikanadze and Giorgi Sosiashvili Meet with Executive Director of the American Society of Criminology

The Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, and Deputy Chair of the Committee, Giorgi Sosiashvili, met with Chris Eskridge, Executive Director of the American Society of Criminology and Professor at the University of Nebraska, USA.
The meeting focused on matters related to the field of criminology in Georgian higher education institutions.
“We discussed ongoing developments in criminology at Georgian universities. The American professor gave a positive assessment of the opportunities and quality of knowledge provided to law faculty students in the field of criminology—particularly at Grigol Robakidze University. We also explored the possibility of further collaboration between the professor and other universities. It is noteworthy that Professor Chris Eskridge is visiting Georgia to participate in the 5th International Scientific Conference 'Academic Community Against Transnational Organized Crime,' hosted by Grigol Robakidze University”, – G. Mikanadze stated.
The meeting was also attended by the President of the Georgian Academy of Criminological Sciences, Director of the Law and Criminology Research Institute at Grigol Robakidze University, Malkhaz Badzaghua, and the University Rector, Mamuka Tavkhelidze.
