Meeting of Irakli Chikovani with Czech Ambassador, Petr Mikyska
Irakli Chikovani, Head of the Georgian-Czech Parliamentary Friendship Group, met with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia, H.E. Petr Mikyska to discuss the current state of close cooperation between the two countries.
The parties exchanged information on future plans for cooperation and expressed readiness to further deepen close relations.
The conversation focused on Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration process.
Attention was paid to the issues of deepening economic cooperation and the importance of activating the existing formats for this purpose.
It was noted that the projects produced in Georgia with the support of the Czech Republic, which contribute to the development of our country, are valuable.
"We discussed bilateral cooperation and the importance of the Czech Republic-Georgia connection. Georgia's European integration is aided by the Czech Republic, which is a strong supporter of our country. We also discussed the Czech Republic's and the Czech Development Agency's activities in the Samegrelo region, particularly in Zugdidi. We decided that through bilateral cooperation, we would attempt to strengthen and expand these programs”, - Irakli Chikovani said after the meeting.
