The Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee, Irakli Kovzanadze held a meeting with the Chair of the Finance Committee of the National Council of Austria, and the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce, Karlheinz Kopf.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Austria, H.E. Thomas Mühlmann, the Commercial Counsellor for Georgia, Gerhard Lackner and the Ambassador of Georgia to Austria, H.E. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

The parties underlined the close friendly and partnership relations between the countries and touched upon the enhancement of the Parliamentary and trade-economic cooperation, as well as the enhancement of the Georgia-EU relations.

According to I. Kovzanadze, bilateral relations demonstrate a positive dynamic for years covering all spheres of cooperation. He hoped for the intensified activities and investments of the Austrian business circles in Georgia.
