The Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee, Irakli Kovzanadze held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Maaike van Koldam.

The parties underlined the close friendly and partnership relations between the two countries and overviewed the trade-economic cooperation, current real milieu and further cooperation aspects.

As I. Kovzanadze stated, the trade-economic indices are dynamically increasing and Georgia is particularly interested in the agrarian experience and educational system of Holland. “More and more Georgian students get education in the Netherlands”, - he noted and dwelt on the importance of the EU-funded twinning project commenced by the Committee in 2022.

As noted, the 2-year twinning project is to enhance the Parliamentary oversight on public finances with the key partner of the Committee in this process the National Academy for Finance and Economics of the Netherlands and the House of Representatives
