The Chair of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, Irakli Medzmariashvili held an introductory meeting with the EU Ambassador Pawel Herczynski and overviewed the actions taken by Georgia at the EU integration path, as well as the compliance with the EU recommendations.

I. Medzmariashvili introduced the main directions of the activity and the priorities of the Committee for 2023. As noted, the Committee is interested in the inculcation of the European approaches and standards on sports and youth affairs at the legal level, to which the Ambassador expressed his commitment to rendering assistance.
