The Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee, Kakha Kakhishvili held a meeting with the Delegation of the State Investors of Qatar and deliberated the prospects of investment in various spheres.

He highlighted the sectors prevailing in Georgia in terms of investments. As he noted, the legal and executive authorities are engaged and interested in the attraction of foreign investments.

“The meeting was very important and the Delegation members from Qatar expressed their interest in investment in Georgia. It stands as an opportunity for us to, through well-thought investments, facilitate the development of the country. We touched upon the tourism sphere, hospitality business and agricultural programs. At this stage, they are getting familiarized with the situation in Georgia and are glad to see Georgia taking the leading positions almost in all international ratings. The Government members offered several projects to them and it is important that not only the legislative but the executive bodies are engaged in this process”, - K. Kakhishvili stated
