“It was important to meet the Presidents of Parliaments of our friend countries and discuss the agenda of Georgia, especially the issues related to our EU integration”, - the Speaker, Kakha Kuchava summed up his visit to Greece, which was accomplished today.

In Athens, he participated in the European Conference of the Presidents of Parliament and held bilateral meetings with the Delegations of various countries.

“Athens hosted a very interesting 2-day Conference attended by the Presidents of Parliaments of 48 countries. The Conference was important for us as an opportunity to hold the bilateral meetings as well. It was interesting to meet the Presidents of Parliaments of our friend countries and discuss our agenda, especially on the EU integration path. It was also important to hear their supportive statements as always, though they were more specific about our steps tomorrow backed by them to accelerate our EU membership, fulfill the commitments and make not only Georgia but Europe proud of our cooperation”, - he commented to the media.
