The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with the NDI Gender and Inclusion Analyst, Eleanor Benoit, who visits Georgia in view to ensure the observation of the pre-electoral milieu.

The meeting was dedicated to the political environment in Georgia, the role of women in politics, their representation in the political processes and the lingering challenges.

M. Botchorishvili overviewed the pre-electoral political developments and the electoral campaign process. The emphasis was placed on the significance of the impartiality of the observers.
