Meeting of Maka Botchorishvili with the State Secretary of Montenegro for EU Integration Issues
The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with the State Secretary of Montenegro for EU Integration Issues, Aleksandar Maskovic.
The parties overviewed the experience of both countries on the EU integration path and dwelt on the challenges and further plans. M. Botchorishvili highlighted the historical importance of the European perspective, the fulfillment of the EU recommendations and the progress of Georgia in the implementation of the Association Agreement.
The parties underlined that sharing the EU integration experience and cooperation will be highly beneficial for both countries and expressed their commitments to further enhancing the relations in the economic, political and security directions. The conversation covered the security challenges in Europe and the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia.
