Meeting of the Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration, Lasha Tordia, with the Member of Parliament of Ukraine
Future cooperation of the Parliaments of the two countries was the topic of the working meeting of the Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration, Lasha Tordia and the Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Vladimer Landik.
The Ukrainian MP, who chairs the Committee on Freedom of Speech in the Ukrainian Rada, interested in ongoing reforms in Georgia, and particularly with the ways of solution of the problems, related to freedom of speech.
The parties attached higher attention to the spheres, cooperation in which will further foster improvement and strengthening of relations between the two friend countries and nations.
As Lasha Tordia stated, Ukrainian partners are interested in the reforms, which are successfully implemented and are being held in Georgia. The Ukrainian guest expressed the will of cooperation with the Georgian colleagues in the spheres especially, which are related to civil registration, healthcare, freedom of speech and in which our country has achieved definite success.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Georgia, Vasil Tsibenko attended the meeting.
