The Chairman of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, Mikheil Sarjveladze, and the Chairman of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, held a meeting with students from the Master's program at the National University of Georgia and the legal clinic at the Caucasus International University.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the mechanism of parliamentary oversight for protecting human rights. Mikheil Sarjveladze also introduced the new penal law to the students. The MPs answered the students' questions.

The students from the Master's program at the National University of Georgia and the legal clinic at the Caucasus International University were invited to the Parliament by the Chairman of the Committee, Givi Mikanadze for a study visit. An excursion tour of the legislative body was organized for the students during their visit.
