Mikheil Sarjveladze Issuing Recommendations Regarding the Use of Pyrotechnics

Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, has issued recommendations regarding the use of pyrotechnics.
He encourages citizens to refrain from using pyrotechnics altogether. However, for those who still choose to use them, he emphasizes the importance of strictly adhering to safety measures.
"It would be ideal not to use pyrotechnics at all as a means to express joy and to explore alternative ways to celebrate. However, if you still choose to use pyrotechnics to share your joy with others, please consider the following safety guidelines:
1. When purchasing pyrotechnics, check the expiration date and avoid using old materials, as they carry an increased risk.
2. Carefully read and follow the terms and conditions of use provided with the pyrotechnics.
3. Minimize children's exposure to pyrotechnics and do not allow them to handle them independently.
4. Avoid using pyrotechnics while under the influence of alcohol.
5. Ensure that anyone in the vicinity of pyrotechnics wears protective eyewear.
6. Never attempt to ignite multiple units simultaneously.
7. Do not hold burning pyrotechnics in your hands; securely fix them in place and use them in a stationary manner.
8. Never light pyrotechnics in enclosed or indoor spaces.
9. Maintain a safe distance between the location of pyrotechnic use and other people and buildings. Exercise extreme caution near flammable materials.
10. After securely fixing the pyrotechnic material in place, move to a safe distance away from it. Always prioritize responsibility and the well-being of the environment, your health, and the lives of yourself, your family members, and loved ones", - Mikheil Sarjveladze stated.
