Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee and Head of Georgia’s Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, met with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu.

The meeting focused on Georgia's internal political situation, ongoing developments, the upcoming local self-government elections, the country’s European integration path, and the current challenges along the way.

One of the key topics discussed was the ongoing cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE. Nikoloz Samkharadze reiterated Georgia’s active engagement within the organisation and highlighted the OSCE’s important role in supporting regional security and stability.

The meeting also addressed regional security dynamics, including Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and their broader implications for peace and security in the region.

The meeting was attended by Alexander Maisuradze, Georgia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Austria and Permanent Representative to the OSCE and other international organisations based in Vienna.
