Parliament to Consider Election of Natela Turnava to Vacant Position of Member of Board of National Bank of Georgia

The President of Georgia has nominated Natela Turnava for the position of a Member of the Board of the National Bank of Georgia.
As the First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski, noted at the Bureau sitting, the issue will be shortly discussed by the Budget and Finance Committee and the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee.
The members of the Board of the National Bank are elected by the Parliament on the recommendation of the President for a term of 7 years. Natela Turnava has served as the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development from April 18, 2019 to February 9, 2022.
