The Bureau took note of the nomination of Giorgi Amilakhvari to the position of the Chair of the Education and Science Committee, whose candidacy will be voted for at today’s Plenary Session.

At the sitting, the Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, introduced today’s Plenary Agenda, including sundry bills for expedited consideration in the second reading, namely, the draft laws on - State Inspector; Conflict of Interest and Corruption in Public Institutions; Violence Against Women and/or Elimination of Domestic Violence, Protection and Support of Victims of Violence; Common Courts; Code of Administrative Offenses; Election Code; Tobacco Control, and State Property.
