The Parliament endorsed the Accreditation Rule for the Media pursuant to the Order of the Speaker

The Parliament endorsed the Accreditation Rule for the media.


Based on the Speaker’s Order, two types of accreditation shall be issued to the media: for the parliamentary journalist with a term of one year, and a special (single-pass) accreditation.


The Order provides a detailed stipulation of the accreditation types, number of accredited journalists, and rights and duties thereof.

The Order provides the list of the documents to be submitted by the media means to the Parliament within the period of February 7-February 20 at the address: N8, Rustaveli Avenue, or to the e-mail: [email protected].


The accreditation application shall be enclosed with the list of the journalists (name, last name, personal number, position, official and personal phone numbers), a copy of the residence permit/ID, digital photo (3x4); in case of the printed media mean – the specimens of the publications for the last 2 months prior to the application; in case of the broadcaster – a copy of a respective authorization/license certificate.


The accreditation to the Parliament shall be issued as follows: 2 for newspapers and magazines; 2 for radio; 4 for online media; 7 crews for the Public Broadcaster (per crew – journalist, cameraman, technical personnel); 7 crews for national TV broadcaster; 3 crews for other broadcasters.


The Accreditation term for the parliamentary journalist is determined as March 1-December 31 inclusive.


A single-pass accreditation shall be issued on the basis of the application providing the name and last name of a journalist, personal number and date of entry to the Parliament.
