The Bill on Construction Amnesty adopted with the III reading

Plenary 12 Jul 2021
The Bill on Construction Amnesty adopted with the III reading

The Parliament discussed with the III reading and adopted with 78 votes the Bill on Spatial Planning, Architectural and Construction Activity Code, regulating the functioning of the premises without the set to operation.

The current Law fails to set the built premise to operation in case of the detected violations.

The changes establish the temporary rule on set of the constructions to operation despite the detected permit violations within Tbilisi Municipality.

The Bill allows the owners of the building to, at own discretion, use the area and apply the constructions only with the permit issued before August 18, 2020.

The Bill is initiated by Maia Bitadze, Beka Davituliani, Nodar Turdzeladze, Irakli Zarkua, Ana Buchukuri, Mikheil Daushvili, and Beka Liluashvili.
