The Parliament voted for the Candidates for the Chair and Members of the Central Election Commission

The Parliament, at the extraordinary session, voted for the candidates for the Chair and members of the CEC – Giorgi Kalandarishvili and Giorgi Santuriani – nominated for the Chairmanship of the CEC – were rejected by the Parliament.

The Parliament also voted for Gia Tsatsashvili, Lela Taliuri, Tamar Sartania and Maia Zaridze to 3 vacant positions of the CEC members and rejected all candidates.
