The Parliament endorsed the changes to the Law on Higher Education in the third reading with 77 votes, envisaging the introduction of new regulations regarding the suspension of student status and student mobility in military higher education institutions.

Under the change, suspension of student status and student mobility at the David Agmashenebeli Georgian National Defense Academy will be regulated in a different way.

The change also implies the optimization of targeted spending of budget funds.
