The meeting of Rati Ionatamishvili with the Students’ Parliament Members

The Deputy Chair of the Legal Issues Committee, Rati Ionatamishvili held a meeting with the Students’ Parliament members to discuss the political processes and human rights in Georgia.
The parties stressed the rights of persons with disabilities, women and girls on the basis of the legal initiatives.
R. Ionatamishvili, elected as the President of the Olympic Committee in 2020, emphasized the engagement of the young persons with disabilities in the Olympic movement and the development of para-sports in the country. He dwelt on the development of civil society and engagement of the youth in the political processes.
“The meeting was very interesting, we discussed the economic situation of the country, human rights, and political processes. I am glad to see our students expressing their interest in the development of the country and our future. They have interesting questions and our duty is to answer them”, - he stated.
