The Audit Recommendations Implementation Monitoring System (ARIS) was presented at the Budget and Finance Committee today by the Auditor General, Irakli Mekvabishivli.

He introduced the information on ARIS and dwelled on the e-monitoring system ARIS.SAO.GE. According to him, the system in an independent manner ensures monitoring. The software allows the issue of the audits, recommendations and the action plan in e-format and automatization of the fulfillment control. Access to ARIS.GE allows the monitoring of the implementation of the audit recommendations in real-time.

The reporter emphasized the benefits of the system by the monetary improvement, state service quality, cadastral resources, assets and financial system management, improvement of the internal control, enforcement of the law and increased social benefits.

“The Parliament will enjoy the special admission to the system, which envisages its capacity to envision a wider picture at the central and municipal levels about the Audit Service conclusions, recommendations, findings etc. The Parliament will, from the angle of the public sector, see to the fulfillment of the recommendations and will receive the updated information. I believe, this system will lead us to a qualitatively new level and increase the index of the fulfillment of the recommendations jointly in collaboration with the Parliament”, - the reporter stated.
