The Georgia-Greece Parliamentary Friendship Group serves the official visit to Greece

The Georgia-Greece Parliamentary Friendship Group headed by Givi Mikanadze serves the official visit to the Hellenic Parliament.
Georgian MPs held bilateral meetings with the Head of the Greece-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group, Dimitrios Kouvelas and the Group members. The parties discussed the support of the Hellenic Parliament to the EU and NATO integration of Georgia. Greek MPs noted that Georgia can count on Greece as a devoted friend committed to rendering due support in the EU integration term.
The parties touched upon the conclusion of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Parliaments to facilitate the implementation of the exchange and joint programs. As the colleagues agreed, Georgia is to host the Greek MPs in autumn on their response visit.
The Georgian Parliamentary Delegation is composed of the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze and the member of the Political Group “Girchi”, Alexander Rakviashvili.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to Greece and Serbia, H.E. David Dondua.
Georgian MPs will stay in Greece up to June 30.
