The Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili held an online meeting with the Speaker of the Ukrainian Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk to discuss the Russian aggression against Ukraine and its tragic consequences.

Mr. Stefanchuk thanked Georgia for the aid and for special care to the Ukrainians staying in Georgia. Shalva Papuashvili expressed his intact support and solidarity to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

The parties agreed on the exchange of information and preliminary communication to prevent confusion and vagueness and discussed the EU accession and cooperation of Georgia and Ukraine in this process. The parties agreed on the visit of the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament to Ukraine in the nearest future.
