The Chair of the Parliamentary Political Group “European Socialists”, Pridon Injia and the Group members held a meeting with the First Deputy Finance Minister, Giorgi Kakauridze to discuss the draft State Budget 2021.

As G. Kakauridze stated, the updated macro-economic parameters and economic growth entailed the changes, related to the healthcare expenditures due to the pandemic.

The changes to the budget increase the incomes part with 300 ml GEL and the expenditure part with 297,4 ml GEL to be consumed on the pandemic-related healthcare.

“The meeting was constructive. We discussed the changes to the State Budget entailed with the necessity to increase the healthcare sector due to the pandemic. We also discussed the plans for 2022”, - P. Injia stated.
