Meeting of the Parliamentary Majority MPs with the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil

The Majority MPs held a meeting with the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil.
The parties discussed the Georgia-Czech Parliamentary Cooperation prospects and the support of Georgia on the EU integration path. As noted, the support of the Czech Republic to the foreign priorities of Georgia is even more important as the Czech Republic assumes the CoE presidency for the term of 6 months as of July 2022.
“It was an interesting meeting with the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. We discussed all the issues related to bilateral relations. We touched upon the EU integration prospects of Georgia and noted that the Czech Republic can play a key role in this process, especially since the Czech Republic is soon assuming the CoE presidency. Hence, the support of the Czech Republic on our EU integration path is paramount”, - the Majority Leader, Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
The meeting was attended by the Majority Leader, Irakli Kobakhidze and Majority MPs, Tamar Taliashvili, Giorgi Amilakhvari, Giorgi Khelashvili and Irakli Chikovani.
