The Registration Fees to be annulled for 6 months for the Loan Issuing Entities

The Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee discussed the Draft Law on Registration Fees introduced by the Vice-President of the National Bank, Papuna Lezhava.

According to him, the loan-issuing entities, operating today in capacity of the individual entrepreneurs and aspiring to be transformed into legal entities will enjoy the annulled registration fees for 6 months.

“The change aims at the modification of the regulations based on the request of the National Bank to allow the loan issuers to acquire the legal form, which means that the individual entrepreneurs will no longer be able to register as loan issuer entities. However, we believe it unfair when the IE has already paid a registration fee and has to re-pay the sum”, - he stated and introduced two more Drafts – Activity of Micro Banks; and deriving legal package on the establishment of the average, stable business model and high-reputation new financial institution oriented to the facilitation of crediting the entrepreneur and agricultural activities.

Providing the remarks, the Committee approved the Drafts
